These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Pickline application and website (“Service”), operated by the sole proprietor identified below. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. About the service

Pickline is a free skill-based prediction game for entertainment purposes. Users predict match scores and outcomes across multiple sports and compete on leaderboards. Pickline is not a sportsbook, gambling platform, or betting service. It does not custody real money, set odds, or facilitate wagering.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You must provide a valid email address for authentication. You agree not to share your one-time passcodes with others.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
  • Attempt to manipulate leaderboards, scores, or predictions
  • Create multiple accounts to circumvent pool limits or abuse the Service
  • Harass, threaten, or impersonate other users
  • Use automated tools to access the Service (bots, scrapers, etc.)
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure

5. Private credits

Pickline may offer an optional private credits ledger feature. Credits are an off-platform scorecard for hypothetical pool stakes between friends. Credits have no monetary value, cannot be redeemed for cash, and are not cryptocurrency or platform escrow. Pickline is not responsible for any off-platform agreements between users.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by the operator. Match data is sourced from publicly available sports APIs. You retain ownership of any content you create (display name, pool names).

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that scores, results, or leaderboard calculations will be error-free, though we make reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

9. Account deletion

You may request account deletion at any time by contacting us. We will delete your account and associated personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via the app or email.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the state in which the operator resides.
